7 October 2026, the notice. EdgeProp reported a leasehold redevelopment site of 94,907 sq ft at Jalan Merbok, offered by expression of interest with a fresh 103-year lease. EdgeProp lists the zoning as Educational Institution in Master Plan 2025. An expression of interest is an invitation for interested parties to come forward with offers.
7 October to 6 November, the offer window. Interested parties prepare an offer and a proposed concept for the site, meaning their idea of how it would be used. EdgeProp reported the preferred uses as senior living and care facilities: assisted living, a nursing home, a day care centre or a training centre for health and medical care, with planning and regulatory approvals needed for any of them. The window stays open until the 3 pm close.
3 pm on 6 November 2026, the close. According to EdgeProp, the exercise ends at this hour, and the offers received by then form the set of proposals. The date falls on a Friday.
After the close, the next update. Whatever outlets report once the offers are in will be added in a later post as the facts are released, and the date and hour above are the markers to follow until then.
The preferred uses sit at different points on the care side. Day care is daytime supervision and support, a nursing home offers ongoing nursing, and assisted living offers help with everyday routines, while the training centre prepares people for health and medical work. EdgeProp groups them as senior living and care facilities, which sets the direction of the notice, with planning and regulatory approvals still to be obtained.
The lease term is the other fixed point in the notice. A fresh 103-year lease starts the clock over for the site, and EdgeProp attaches that term to the whole 94,907 sq ft on offer.
